Grizzly Adams Handmade Damascus Steel Tracker Knife
John “Grizzly” Adams embodied the name “Grizzly” with harrowing adventurers to capture and tame bears throughout the west. In the winter 1854, Grizzly Adams captured a massive grizzly in California. The grizzly weighed in at an astonishing 1,500 pounds and Grizzly Adams later named him Samson. Adams would frequently take on bears up close with nothing but his knife. Late in his life, Adams joined P.T. Barnum as part of his show and performed with his trained bears.
John more than earned his name and we honor him by naming this handmade damascus steel tracker after him and his amazing life. A big and heavy knife, the heft of this knife will surprise you. It is well balanced for such a large knife and ergonomic finger grooves make the knife feel great in your hand. A thick Micarta handle ensures you have solid hold when using this burly blade. Saw-tooth notches down the spine allow you to saw through wood or rope if needed. A thick, handmade leather sheath finishes off this amazing knife and makes it easy to carry.
