Forseti Steel Coins

When I was a young boy, my grandfather gave me a pocket knife for my birthday. Along with the pocket knife was a single nickel. He explained that throughout history knives, swords or daggers had been given as gifts only to end the friendships or relationships, and even leading to war. But if you give the giver something of value, a coin perhaps, then this becomes a purchase and not a gift. In turn, saving your friendship. I returned the nickel to my grandfather and our love continued throughout the rest of his life. For this reason, we include a unique Forseti Steel coin with each of our knives. That way if you are giving the knife as a gift, the receiver can return the coin to you and your relationship will be safe.

BEHIND THE DESIGN

You may think we are being a little dramatic, but Forseti Steel was born and inspired by hero's, legend's, and amazing stories. Forseti Steel was even named after the Norse god Forseti, the god of judgement. We love the stories and this is why we designed the Forseti Steel coin the way we did. See below for what inspired our design and the symbiology on the coin.

Why we designed our Forseti Steel coin

We chose gold and silver as our coin finishes because of what they represent. The celestial body represented by gold is the Sun. Silver is represented by the Moon. Night and day. Dark and light. We believe in the balance of all things and tried to represent that in the design of our coins. We hope that you enjoy them as much as we do.
