The knife’s aesthetics are great, the Damascus is poorly crafted. I can slide my fingernail between the welds. I wouldn’t trust it for any serious cutting. The sheath holds the knife horizontally, which I love, but it doesn’t actually hold the knife in. It slipped out and fell to the ground twice while wearing it the first and only time I used it. I paid the extra $5 to have my initials etched, don’t do that. Now I can’t return it.
I'm sorry about the knife and sheath. All of our knives come with a warranty, regardless if you customized it. We don't accept returns on knives that are engraved but if there is a defect, then it becomes a warranty. I will have one of our customer service people reach out to you.
I really like the knife, not so happy with the sheath. Would have preferred a vertical carry.
This is a handful of art with an attitude. Gorgeous swirls of the steel; a swooping cutting edge; and the right feel of polished wood scales providing a solid grip for any task at hand, The double-edged sword here is deciding on whether it's a tool or a display piece. Meticulous workmanship for pattern-welded damascus at this price.
Very well made camp craft and hunting knife. The wood and damascus steel combines to make a knife that's practical and strong, stays sharp and looks great.
I expected to receive a dagger, it's barely bigger than a pocket knife! Daniel Boon would never have survived in the forest with this pocket knife!
For me, this is a scam!
I'm sorry you thought the Boone was a dagger. We try to show the knives from many different angles so you can fully see the knife. We generally also say the knife is a 'dagger' if it is a dagger and not a knife. We also put dimensions so you know how large or small the knife is. You are more than welcome to return the knife and we will refund your money. Please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can your return started.
