There have been many famous daggers throughout history, but few have such a tragic story than with Romeo and Juliet. Young lovers are torn apart from feuding families where violence and death are common place. As the number of deaths escalates and revenge takes it course through the tale, the "dagger" becomes a symbol of the relationship between love and death. Even as Juliet takes her own life, her final words recognize this symbolism, "O happy dagger!"

While Romeo and Juliet is a tragic story, we have named this dagger in respect of the two young lovers who came to such a tragic end. This 7.5" Damascus steel dagger is artfully designed and a dagger either the Montague's or Capulet's would be carry. An ornate brass bolster and pommel make this dagger a beautiful piece of art. The white handle is made of camel and buffalo bone, while the black handle is made of buffalo horn. The handmade leather sheath gives you the option to carry the dagger on your belt in a vertical position. Our custom pine wood boxes and wood shavings add the finishing touch to these amazing daggers.

I love the look of the knife also the sheath is ok but when I run my finger over the blade there is no sharp edge it just feels like it was rolled will gladly send you pics I have not sharpened it yet my self just got a display case for it and it looks great was disappointed in finding it unsharpenef had bought on other knife from retail store in Jaskson Hole Wyoming. It was good and sharpy. Will update review if I hear back from you I do like your knifes

Hi Stephen,
For some of these more collectable knives and daggers, we only put a basic sharpening grind on them. The reason for this is because most people are not going to actually use them to cut anything. We have even had customers request to remove the sharpening grind completely because they want to use it as a prop. We would be more than happy to sharpen for you if you like. We do have lifetime sharpening on all of our knives. Here is a the link to have this done. https://forsetisteel.com/pages/lifetime-sharpening

Love this knife! Compact design, nice grip, feels comfortable in your hand--very sharp blade! As a side for the ladies--it fits in the smallest of bags. You won't be disappointed if you buy it!
