Sir Edmund Damascus Steel Knife
FS-1811
Regular price $118.99Proud of his New Zealand heritage and birth, Sir Edmund Hillary was a famous mountaineer, explorer, military man and an extraordinary philanthropist. Sir Edmund was a shy and humble man who led a life of incredible accomplishments. The explorer in him led him to be the first man to ever reach both the north pole, the south pole and to summit Everest. He spent his life traveling the world, climbing majestic mountains and serving those in need. He was truly an extraordinary man who made an impact on the entire world.
The Sir Edmund Damascus knife is made out of pure symbolism for his incredible life. The white bone handle represents his undying love for exploration peaked with his summit of Everest. The sliver of walnut merged with the stainless steel handle are in honor of his dedicated service in the New Zealand Air Force. His love for humanity and life of service is presented in the beauty of the water-like pattern found on in the Damascus blade. This is a blade crafted with true character.

Care Instructions
1095 steel is a high-carbon steel and will rust if not dried and oiled after use. Hand wash only with soap and hot water. Dry completely before oiling.
A very sharp, quality knife. Took a beating and did not break. The only issue I have is with the sheath. The pop rivets holding the belt loop on has rusted completely and now the rust got onto the blade. I have removed the rust on the blade. Unable to use the sheath.
First time buyer, hoping for a good impression, I open it and a one inch by one inch area looks like a little kid drew it, or it was a watermark, it was just terrible, someone should have checked this order before it was sent. I will not be a returning customer. Also, you might think that they would be more caring about this matter, no, just send it back.

Another great knife from Forseti !
High quality, fit for a king!
Handle to narrow or thin needs more material. I have average to small hands for a guy and it feels to narrow in my had so any guy with larger hands which is most it will feel really small.
