Tiger's Claw Damascus Steel Karambit
FS-1837
Regular price $129.99The karambit originated among the Minangkabau people of West Sumatra where it was inspired by the claws of a tiger. While the early karambits were used as tools, it was soon weaponised because the curved blade had so much cutting potential. Soldiers in Indonesia would carry a dagger, called a Kris, and a spear. The karambit was always used a weapon of last resort and close quarters combat. Today the karambit is a favorite among martial artists and tactical users.
Our Damascus steel karambit is full tang and made of 1095 and 15n20 steel. The high carbon content of 1095 gives this karambit an extremely sharp and durable edge. The exposed Damascus steel safety ring will give you plenty of control when using this knife. The safety ring helps prevent the knife from sliding in your hand and allows you to spin the karambit to change hand positions. The smooth, ergonomic tali wood handle finishes off the tiger claw look and every looks like the skin of a tiger. The Tiger’s Claw Damascus Steel Karambit is the ideal choice for the discerning collector or tactical user who wants a hand crafted karambit that is unique in design and style.

The knife is amazing flawless but the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star, is the sheath it comes with is for left handed draw. Should make it for both in my opinion.
First off I love Karambit blades convenient to carry and a good working weapon
I love the look of this blade but the grip is too short amd my pinky ends up smashed against the other three when holding it
If I move it down in grip then I’m exposing my fingers and loose grip strength amd possibly mg finger.
The curve on this blade is very pronounced and can be an advantage in a close space situation
Oh the bottle opener … I’d scrap it
This will be in the box since I don’t think as an EDC it is a little on the heavy side to wield

I bought this as a birthday gift for my daughter. She’s a martial artist and likes curved blades. The grip is a bit small, but she has smaller hands, so it works out.
I am grinding the bottle opener back a little and rounding it off. As you guys cut the slot, the point is too sharp and right where your thumb rests. Packaging is nice for gift giving. The blade needed a better edge put on it, which I did. Overall, it’s a nice knife and the Damascus pattern is well done.
Overall a great knife with impeccable design. Knife sheeth is good minus the one rivet that attaches the leather belt loop. After a week of wear the rivet has broken half off. Now I don't wear my knife anymore so it don't randomly fall off and be lost forever. I will figure out a solution to the issue I have encountered.
